After a day outdoors, return to the comfort of the Lodge, where two expansive great rooms with impressive native stone fireplaces and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen invite you to relax, refuel, and reconnect.
About Skylight Ski Lodge
Originally built in 1950, Skylight Ski Lodge operated as a beloved Vermont inn from 1952 to 2002. In its heyday, Ski Magazine (February 1977) noted, “Most of the serious skiers who frequent the Skylight Lodge wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.”
Today, the Lodge has been thoughtfully renovated to honor its storied past while offering modern comfort and amenities. Exceptional craftsmanship is evident throughout—from maple trees milled on-site for trim and flooring to the two grand great rooms anchored by massive, wood-burning stone fireplaces.
Skylight Ski Lodge continues to welcome guests with the same spirit of warmth, adventure, and connection that has defined it for generations—a timeless Vermont retreat where memories are made year after year.
The Space
Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire home—it’s all yours during your stay. With seven bedrooms, two spacious great rooms, and ample indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, the Lodge is perfectly suited for large families, groups, and reunions.
Unwind by the outdoor fire pit under the stars or enjoy the scenic pond on the property. Please note that swimming in summer and skating in winter are at your own risk.
Guest Access & Support
The Lodge offers private, self check-in via a smart lock, with detailed arrival instructions provided prior to check-in. While we don’t live on-site, our local property manager is nearby and available if needed. We’re also just a message away and happy to assist with anything from house questions to local dining and activity recommendations.

Skylight Ski Lodge is a private mountain retreat designed for relaxation and connection. The home operates on a septic system, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water usage.
Winter travelers should plan for snowy conditions—4WD or AWD vehicles are strongly recommended. A starter bundle of firewood is provided, and we’ll share details on local firewood purchase options before arrival.
