Summary: Umm. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Clean absolutely, room was fabulous. Service, apart from breakfast amazing. There was nothing wring with the food in the restaurant..it was good and tasty but the menu was pretty standard and uninspiring. Breakfast was good, but limited. Lacking in some basics..it felt as though they were try to save money. Just restricting options. Just orange juice, whole fruit.. madarins and apples, no marmalade, no dairy free yoghurt...full English only. Tasty and hot yes. I can forgive all of this...as i say nothing wrong...just not special. However...to the management. I do not expect to have to pay for parking! We stayed two nights..visiting family...where else am I supposed to park. Your hotel.is on an estate! The booking says...self parking avaliable as a headline. In the t&cs, this is where you find the detail. Charge your guests using the hotel to park cars whilst flying from Gatwick...not other residents. For this reason alone, we won't stay again. I don't like getting ripped off. I spend over £500 in the hotel and you charge me for parking. Just bad business!
