This idyllic country retreat is just one hour by car from NYC and an easy commute to GCS (just one stop on the express train from Stamford). Live the Bedford/Pound Ridge lifestyle with easy access to the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation’s hiking trails, horseback riding, yoga loft at the Inn at Bedford Post and Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean Georges. The historic Silvermine area and magical Tavern and Mercantile at Grey Barns are just a short drive away. The pond is home to a resident heron, ducks and we are on a migratory path for Canadian geese. We also have woodpeckers and screecher owls. The gardens are lush and there are raised garden beds from which to pick vegetables from. There are also two outdoor fire pits to gather around and an outdoor movie 'theatre' and daybed.
