Deer Trail Lodge Resort is located in Northwest Wisconsin’s Chequamegon National Forest on the scenic shores of Lake Delta near Iron River, Wisconsin. The crystal clear waters of Lake Delta are part of a three-lake chain of lakes in Northwest Wisconsin. The property has an excellent sandy swimming beach, great fishing lake, a 14' rowboat awaits you at the dock, kayaks and canoes available at the beach area and walking trails on over 40 wooded acres. Guests also have direct access to hiking, biking, ATV and snowmobile trails. Cross country skiing trails are nearby in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest are only one mile away. Your cabin will include a fully equipped kitchen (with dishes, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, stove and refrigerator), 2 bedrooms with all bedding, a full bathroom with tub and shower. (bring your own towels for bath, kitchen and beach. A patio door leading onto a deck with a large picnic table, your own outdoor grill overlooking Lake Delta. Deer Trail Lodge Cabins are 3 and 1/2 hours from St. Paul, 1 hour southeast of Duluth, 35-40 minutes North of Hayward, 30-35 minutes south of Bayfield.
