Summary: This rental was even better than I could have imagined! The house itself is amazing, and the peaceful setting in the woods was the perfect retreat after long days at the baseball field.It was set up perfectly for our situation. We had two families staying here: my son and I (while my husband and other son stayed at Dreams Park), and another couple whose son was also on the team. My son and I stayed upstairs, where there are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The other couple enjoyed the master bedroom downstairs, which also had its own full bathroom. It was ideal—we each had our own space and privacy.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the deck was a beautiful spot to enjoy coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening. The rocking chairs were a wonderful touch for relaxing.One pleasant surprise was that the living room has newer furniture than shown in the online pictures—it made the space feel even more rustic and inviting. I would absolutely stay here again!The couple who own the house also run a pizza place right across from Dreams Park. We ate there twice, and the pizza was delicious!The location was perfect: about 22 minutes from Dreams Park, 10 minutes from Leatherstocking Golf Course, and 12 minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame and the center of town for restaurants and shopping. I was worried we might be too far from the park, but the drive was easy and went by quickly. We loved it!
